(60,726 posts)We are following some of the CDC guidelines. We are washing our hands way more and are more aware of people around us. We did go to some events at our synagogue this weekend, but there are no positive cases in Northern VT.
I always have a large number of dried beans, flours, cereals, dried fruit, nuts, and grains in the pantry because I have always stocked up on them, bought vegetables from a CSA and then stopped at the closest store for other things needed for what I want to cook. When I last went to that store I bought 4 bags of frozen vegetables and a couple of tofu packages and frozen fish and more coffee. I already had chicken in the freezer from my CSA. I will keep things at this level until the threat is over. This easily meets the goal of being prepared to have good for 3 plus weeks.
If and likely when more cases happen here, we will stay home.
