Are there any other sites like DU? [View all]

I know, JPR and the freepers but I mean actually like DU, where people more or less congregate in one ongoing conversation about politics for years at a time?

I know I love being able to dip in and out as news breaks and know someone else is paying attention and can add to what I know.

And argue. I have been so mad at some of you people I could spit. And then the same damn person will post something brilliant, or funny, or sane, and I’m reeled right back in again.

Maybe I’m waxing philosophical in the face of need for unity, but here I am sticking my head up out of the fray and saying “Hey, DU I see you.
