(33,233 posts)that needs to be walked 3-4 times/day. I live in Wake County, NC where there are now 52 cases, the second most in the state.
More than 50% of the time we are alone in the elevator going up or down. Not always. I won't get on an elevator with more than one other person on it if possible so we can stay in opposite corners. I cross the street if I see someone coming in the middle of the sidewalk who looks like they have no intention of moving over.
I flew home from Bonaire (in the Caribbean where they still do not have a single case of coronavirus) on March 9th. Tomorrow will be 14 days since I was in an airport. No symptoms so far. The week I came home I went to the grocery store and spent $300. on food and supplies. I went to the library and got a dozen books. I went to the drug store and picked up my asthma prescription refill. It was in the drug store where I came closest to having someone cough within 2 feet of me. Clueless woman.
Last Friday I went to the 7-8 am hour for seniors at the Dollar General which is one block from my apartment to pick up a few things. Nobody but people stocking in the store, no line at the cashier, no coughing. In and out in less than 10 minutes.
My freezer and pantry are pretty full. I probably won't go in a store again for supplies for at least a week, maybe longer.
