What was different is got a call changing appointment from 10 AM to the 1:15 PM slot and that the Clinic was experimenting with drive through vaccination. Like my 1st shot, people were in 15 minute time slots: meet with doctor, review material, sign a release; get shot; and wait 15 minutes for overt bad reactions and to get covid card obtained at first shot updated. Got another copy of COVID19 Fact Sheet plus material on reactions plus diet supplements and treatment should get various after effects and when to call 911 / go to ER.
Very straightforward and professional. Others in Humboldt county have struggled obtaining vaccines but IHS is federally distributed and not through county and state. I am fortunate to be in IHS service territory and the Clinic is my primary provider.
BTW not NA but multigenerational local, age 68, have been through chemo and cancer surgeries (not locally) beginning in 2018.
