18. They see everything through a partisan lens.

They think their side is perfect and Donnie is a saint, certainly innocent of any possible crime. They think anyone who does anything against them or donnie in particular must be motivated by something evil, usually partisan politics.

They can't for one minute entertain the thought that donnie might actually be guilty of something.
