from a distance. And you can always hope that some day they may break free of the indoctrination, while accepting that you cannot save them. If they are toxic to your health, you are no help to anyone.

I really don't completely understand why some people are more easily indoctrinated than others or why some people can pull away while others don't. I suppose a lot of it must be fear, but each person is an unique individual so you can't paint them all with a broad brush.

Yes at least you have possibilities in your future, more than they do I'm sure.
