Everyone disliked is a Nazi or fascist these days. The words have almost no meaning anymore. When someone uses that word about a political opponent, they're downgraded on the "People with useful opinions" list.

Plus it reeks of Internet Tough Guyism. To punch a Nazi, people need to leave the house. And the people yearning for this violence seldom do in my experience. They just like it when other people carry out their fantasies and then post it to social media.

Spencer's a terrible person. There's no denying that.

But people on social media cheering for violence isn't something that should be supported.

How much applause would "punch a groomer" get? Why/why not? An easy why not - because the Right calls everyone a groomer. It has no meaning. Even though actual groomers are terrible people.

This is a road people expect others to trod down while they themselves do nothing.
