I supported him in 1988 and in 2008. He's always impressed me, even when does one of his "regular Joe" goofs. The substance of how he's argued throughout his career has always told me this was a man of parts, a man who could do the job. The plagiarism problem in '88 was really a matter of busy man not getting adequate staff support. How many senators even do their own speechwriting?
