website that allowed people to buy and sell drugs, etc. and avoid taxes. He is a libertarian. He said that he started Silk Road so that people could "live in a world without the systemic use of force". He ended up paying hired killers.

It seems pretty obvious to me who he wanted to free from the use of force, and why he is so popular with libertarians in Texas.
