In reply to the discussion: Some folks here think people criticizing Biden's debate performance need to "offer a solution". Here's one. [View all]Trust_Reality
(1,908 posts)I'm with Clair McCaskill and Joe Scarborough.
I'm 80. I'm pretty healthy. I take no medications. (I do take lots of carefully selected supplements.) I'm pretty good on the pickleball court, quite mobile, etc. I can drive across country to visit family. I manage family finances. And, I view myself as being half my actual age... until I actually see myself (photo, video, etc.). Biden, who has done an outstanding job as president, needs to watch the video of his debate - as also advised by Michael Steele.
Biden would be an outstanding special advisor to a younger president.
I love Kamala Harris - as VP.
Look at others who have shown interest in being president:
Amy Klobuchar and Eric Swalwell to name two I would love.
Biden's campaign structure and funds could be transferred straight over. Potential for big energy boost, big jump in enthusiasm, lots of excitement going forward. I could vote for them rather than against the big liar con man.
To say that Biden is the only one who can beat Trump strikes me as utter nonsense. And look at the polls.
Finally, in 2020 I decided that the voters who know who to vote for are black women. Joy Reid, for one, seems very concerned about Biden.
I'm tempted to pray even though I am totally not religious.
