that we cannot count on the courts any more and it is up to us to make a stand with our votes. Implied, IMO, but not said, was that since preserving democracy is up to us as citizens, our stand must go beyond the vote if it comes to that - and it will. Biden did not offer any false assurances that all will go smoothly. He called upon the American people to see what is happening and to recognize that courts will not save us this time around like they did in 2020.
