General Discussion

My family.

My parents were "unhappy," "miserable," and "angry" because they were adults with children. (I know, I know. I'm talking myself out of existence.)

Exhibit One: Our mother was dying in the hospital, in a coma. My brother wanted to pray for her and it offended our father. Dad screamed at my brother and threatened to get a restraining order to keep him away from our mother.

Exhibit Two: Our father died. He disinherited all of his children and left $35,000 each to the neighbor across the street and two of my ne'er-do-well cousins.

Yeah, we really enriched their lives.
