There would have to be a convening of the Republican National Committee to vote to oust Vance--which is both legally dubious (because there are binding contracts already signed establishing his relationship and position with the RNC) and politically untenable (since his selection was ordained by the politically powerful investor/donor class of oligarchs who fund the RNC).
This fantasy of parties situationally swapping out candidates to improve their chances is the speculation of people who don't understand party dynamics and legal obligations.

The problem is getting a replacement and then getting that information to all of the states in a timely manner.
