1. Gather intelligence on political leaders and candidates for their corporate conglomerate owners and oligarchs use.

2. Influence the American People, many times against their own best interests but to further corporate conglomerate and oligarch fortunes.

The vast majority of the American People wouldn't have known who *rump was prior to 2016 had it not been for 14 years of the illusion created by "The Apprentice" and they gave billions of dollars in free advertising during that Presidential run to their creation.

This is why consistently 60 to 70+% of the American People support policies whether it be health care, education etc. etc. that are promoted as being "extremist" issues by that same corporate media; but those polls aren't promoted so much by them.
