That's if we don't develop true AI, which will wipe us out anyway, before we get that far.

We are dangerous. We live on what amounts to a small neighborhood, we're destroying our own chance of survival by killing the environment, we kill each other in vast numbers, develop more and more weapons to kill even more and more of our fellow humans, we seemingly have no concern for anything but profit and power over others.

Yeah. If I found this planet, I'd probably just toss a couple of asteroids at it and let it all die.

And of course I know there are many good people. But why has it gotten to this point?
