Once you set up a situation where doctors are terrified of being prosecuted and losing their medical licenses, you automatically restrict women from receiving basic reproductive healthcare. Any procedure that has a whiff of abortion-related uses like a D&C will provoke this reaction, even though D&Cs are regularly used for miscarriage complications to prevent exactly what Amber Thurman experienced. D&Cs are used for polyp and fibroid treatments and excess menstrual bleeding as well.

The forced birth community and Fox News can couch this in any language they choose. It's still monstrous and anti-women. We'll see more unnecessary death and suffering as long as this nonsense prevails..
