whatever it is that he feels will bring him that power--latching on to Trump-Vance at first but he's out for himself above all. Trump doesn't get it. Vance is likewise more than willing to hitch his future onto the Peter Thiel types, Musk, and others at Trump's expense. Both Musk and Vance are incredibly socially awkward, but they are convinced otherwise. And mark my words, if we all suffer the worst fate in the election, Trump will be tossed aside whenever it becomes convenient.
