only because 2016 happened, and I never in a million years thought that Trump would win. My confidence level has taken a huge hit. Let's face it, just the fact that Trump managed to become the GOP's presidential nominee is mind blowing and scary. Considering that Republicans would do anything to get Trump elected without any scruples, makes me even more hesitant to be fully confident.
