Let me rephrase.

This election isn't about personalities.

Personalities are what makes the "spokesperson" popular or unpopular.

It all comes down to ideology.

~50% of the country wants the country to proceed one way OR another.

That's really all there is to it.

If Biden had been replaced by Newsom, Shapiro, Whitmer, Mayor Pete or whoever...

Polls would still look the same because it's a battle of ideologies.

Coke vs Pepsi is a solid analogy.
