The problem is increasingly becoming obvious to me.

As much as I would like to believe otherwise, the fact that Trump is not down by 30 points and looking at a Mondale '84 level stomping and that Tucker is somehow beloved by MILLIONS and able to spew such imbecilic tripe without being roundly tar and feathered simply demand the conclusion that, yes, this IS EXACTLY WHO MILLIONS OF AMERICANS ARE!

Hateful.
Ignorant.
Vengeance seeking.
Knowledge and Truth allergic.

I developed a sensitization to tetracycline and its analogues years ago. I had been repeatedly misdiagnosed for an eye condition that resembled pink eye but was in fact an allergic response. Over the course of a year, I was written 9 different prescriptions for eye drops containing various amounts of tetracycline. In the end, the allergan was identified, but not before I developed a sensitization to tetracycline that will forever haunt me. My body has become allergic to it in such a degree that additional exposures began to exhibit exponentially worse reactions in me. At the end, even a small brush with tetracycline caused me to break out in hives, and my eyes to swell shut.

America has become sensitized to and by bullshit. Our collective defenses are destroyed and MILLIONS of Americans - who may not actually be bigots and imbeciles - are actually behaving EXACTLY like bigots and imbeciles. I do not know if this can be reveresed - its been literally 20 years since I have had ANY contact with tetracycline, but I can tell you this, without a guarantee that it would not produce the same (or worse) effect on me now, years later...I simply won't risk it.

The only "cure" for what America has become come - TOTAL AND COMPLETE ABSTENIENCE from media that amplifies and extends lies to boost ratings and sell more shit to people that they do not actually need, but the patient named "John Q. Public, Unites States of America" is NEVER going to accept that verdict. WE are caught in a hopeless negative feedback loop and circling the drain as a result.

Even if we do squeak out a win in 12 days, we have to face the reality that 40+% of this nation is in desperate need of medical intervention level deprogramming and desensitization, and even then, many millions will NEVER recover. I only wish this was an over-reaction or too hot take. Sadly, my life's experience flies in the face of such a conclusion...
