11. I remember what I got told at 15

Follow the rules. You can be a nurse, teacher or secretary age the only good jobs for girls, and only for a year or two until they get married. Wife is the only acceptable path for girls. Girls who don't get married have something wrong with them. Boys like to use girls who kiss them but they don't marry them. Don't be good in school, boys don't like that. Smile. Never raise your voice. Be sweet. Alsways make sure your makeup is fresh and no matter what you've been doing, always look your best. Never sweat.

The list went on and on and on and on. No wonder we turned to drugs and then broke every single one of those fucking rules as soon as we got away from Mom & Dad.

That girl in the video won't have it easy, but she won't have it as hard as we did. She's welcome.
