The REAL reason there's a lot of "look the other way" denial and misdirection among media minions is because their mogul-bosses were/are part of that gang or, at the very least, complicit in ignoring its existence. No billionaire becomes and remains a billionaire without their own baggage of unmentionable histories, skirting the law and lawless excess. They're responsible for the rise of cottage industries created to secure evidence and silence the witnesses while hiding the huge skeletons.

Trump tried to blatantly coopt the Joint Chiefs, AG and Secret Service to perform similar rolls for his interests. Just as they were approached and used by "W" for other, but just as crooked, purposes in the 2000's. That's why the continued teasing silence of the whole lot of them has been so damn deafening. Their obvious corruption can only be prosecuted with an honest DOJ and USSC which we don't have. Many will escape unscathed into retirement this winter. All under the cover of billionaire network moguls who refuse to go against the "unwritten code" which insulates them all.
