describe it? I don't think that fast on my feet in confrontations and hope to be ready.

I do think the maga folks are being coached probably through social media or online chat, to be outrageously rude, way out of the box.

The other day I experienced this twice. The first time, I was at Salvation Army looking for insulated cups. A big man with a beard and biker gear on, (which I wouldn't judge,) stopped in his tracks and stared at me and looked me up and down slowly like I was a pork chop in an old cartoon. I just didn't look at him and pretended he wasn't there but it felt disgusting and unsettling. He was not from here, clearly, and that behavior doesn't fly here.

When I got to the register I'd noticed that there were two bullshit right wing books, one was Jerome Corsi's book titled something like What About The Birth Certificate. I said that this wasn't consistent with SA's ethics, that these are proven lies, lying is a sin, making money from lies isn't right. Told her I was buying them to throw them out. I said it politely while we were processing my other stuff, not yelling, not drawing any attention but it was clear she disagreed strongly. She cut me off, raised her voice, said some rude things.
