The billionaires are bribing the politicians, the Democrats are not bribing us to get our votes. Big difference between the two ideas. One is progressive, the other is reactionary. Which one would Donald Trump Jr. tweet?

The Republicans have said for a long time that people vote for the Democrats not on principle nor on policy, but rather to get welfare (undeserved is the implication.) African American voters have been especially targeted with that smear campaign.

Your post was good, but the reference to that quotation caught my attention ad was bothersome. There are so many ways that right wing propaganda has surreptitiously seeped into the everyday thinking of so many of us. I think it is important to be vigilant about that.
