I remember my first Thanksgiving after my parents died. My husband pulled out digitized old home movies and my brother and I laughed and cried.

My mom died on Thanksgiving. This year I am scheduled to work in a SNF on that day.

My wife and I have often volunteered to help serve dinner at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving.
