What’s left, life imprisonment for a 12 year old? OK, how’s that work? They going to put a 12 year old in gen pop? Or will they just put him in isolation 23 hours a day with an hour of caged outside yard time each day until he’s old enough to defend himself?

Look, what he did was wrong and horrible and inexcusable for sure, but he is a child, and an emotionally disturbed one at that. He needs to be held accountable for sure, and quite possibly held outside of the public if he cannot be treated. But “tried as an adult”? That’s not justice, it’s just vengeance.
