where a trans person or a man disguised as a women entered a women's restroom and assaulted, pestered or inappropriately stared at a woman in that restroom. My decades of experience with ladies' rooms has taught me that because the stalls are private you don't know who's got what, and that everyone I've ever encountered has been there only to take care of their body functions, to wash up or to apply makeup or comb their hair. There may have been, and probably have been, trans people in the bathroom with me and I didn't know - and I wouldn't have cared if I did know. I have never been assaulted or bothered in any way in a public bathroom.
