I'm very sorry for your loss. These traumas cannot help but impact the health of some of us. I developed some issues in late 2020 that I thought were temporary but are still with me. Our entire nation hasn't had time to absorb and process everything. It just keeps coming.

My father passed away in 2011 and my mother (thank god she is still here) and I have spent a lot of time wondering what he would have said, thought, advised... But part of me is glad he is not here to see this too. Very mixed emotions. Selfishly, I do wish he was here because he probably would have some ideas. But he loved this country and knew history, and I think it would have disturbed him profoundly.
