General Discussion

A WWII veteran medic who saw first hand who the nazies were. If he had been around to see OUR nazies proudly parading in our cities it would have given him a heart attack. My father was a repub his whole life... but in the ways of old time repubs... strong on defense and self independence..but never let anyone he met go without, nor any critter go hungry. He was a dem at heart, and these days would have taken the heart out of him.

I have been so glad he's no longer here to see this, while also mourning him today as much as I did when he died. I miss his wisdom and advice, both of which I find myself in need of hearing these days.
