Democracy ends in America not with a bang but with a rise in the price of eggs, a rise spuriously blamed by the Fox Fascist Oracle on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

In a better world I'd figure on the angry public rising at the polls in the next election and beginning the process of fixing what MAGA will be breaking. -- or at least beginning the process. But the Marching MAGA Morons have given the entirety of the Federal Government over to fascists, both hard and light. They now hold the White House, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Roberts so-called "Supreme Court." As well they hold the majority of State legislatures and executive offices, and a huge number of sycophantic christo-fascist judges (in addition to the 6 on SCOTUS). And, looking towards the future, look at Fat Donnie's choice for Secretary of Education and think about what that means for our children and the future.

We may never retrieve our Democracy, not in this century at any rate. Not without something equivalent to divine intervention.
