In real life I'm Armenian, which is under Putin's sphere and British. My 4th ggf came from Scotland, the same year that Blackbeard died. (He supposedly was on a ship held hostage by him, but I think it's family lore). But based on nationality, I'm not even Armenian since it didn't exist when my dad's family came here. I don't think my grandfather was a Turkish citizen. (Maybe he wasn't because Armenians were generally nor eligible for Turkish citizenship)
