Which authoritarian has the most oligarchs working with and for him? [View all]

Up to this point, we would have said that it was Vladimir Putin. At one time, Putin was considered the richest man in the world and his oligarch friends were spread around the world buying influence and instigating chaos.

But, with the election of the authoritarian, Donald Trump, in America, we may have a new leader for the wealthiest and most influential authoritarian, especially with his partnership with Elon Musk, the new "richest man in the world"?

Most Americans hold out hope that the power will shift in the next election, when the Democrats win back the House and Senate. But there is no guarantee of that happening, or that it will be permitted to happen.

The oligarchs have taken power in this country. They will do whatever they can get away with to maintain that power.

We should not be under the illusion that we are only taking a small hiatus from our known democracy and soon everything will return back to "normal".

It is going to be a real struggle to keep America's democracy, in my opinion.
