basically agreed with Ford pardoning Nixon it was one of the most disheartening, disillusioning and disgusting moments I've ever seen. It turned off huge numbers of young people in a very big way and the Carter years couldn't bring it back enough to prevent Reagan and the succession of GQP created disasters for the country.
