General Discussion

If some of us don't feel like we've had a break whatsoever from the Trump presidency, it might be because he has to varying degrees overshadowed even these last four years--in no little part because of the media's pathetic deference to him. When he's spoken or tweeted he has done it with the same voice he used when he was president. It never ceased, and reporters covered almost everything he did as if it was newsworthy, though it was often petty and trivial.
