Some things I am doing to try and make myself feel better during this terrible time [View all]

Walks. Although I haven’t been able to go for three days due to it being so cold and having a bad headache….watching videos of border collies running free and herding sheep, I watch different videos/ channels at YouTube. I have always wanted to have a border collie and there have been some who were being re homed in the past few months, but I don’t think my cats would like a dog and it’s just too much for me and I don’t really have the living circumstances for it at the moment. So I watch them on yt. I just wish I could give one of those lovely dogs a big hug. Years ago when I was in Scotland, a couple of them came along and hung out with me for a while and they were so sweet.

Coffee. I had not drunk any coffee for a really long time, many years and then about two summers ago I had to go somewhere on no sleep so I decided to have a little pack of instant Starbucks that my father had bought. And it jolted me awake After that I started drinking it before I went to work to wake myself up and make me function better, and now I’m addicted to it and I have to have 2 cups a day, lol.

Watching old TV shows and anything that catches my fancy instead of news. That I started over a year and a half ago.

Trying to take better care of myself and start doing some things for myself again. That is the hardest to do because I have so many things that I have to do and I have very low energy from everything that has been going on both with myself and now this in the past few months.

Loving on my lovely cats who are wonderful 🐾💕

I’ll add some other things as they come along or maybe I have forgotten some. 😀
Some of this can distract me for a while, but there are still times when I get terrible anxiety and depression from what is coming. And everything that has already happened.
