Progressives warned us about Lying Lindy Li [View all]
How did democrats not know that Lindy Li was a grifter chasing power? I can understand people online falling for her BS but she had gotten as far up as meeting with and taking photos with President Biden. Was no one vetting this woman?
It's not even like it's that hard to see as she was bashing fellow democrat AOC on Twitter back in 2020 and quoting right wing conservative Margret Thatcher:
Prior to that she was supporting and posting pictures of herself with Bernie Sanders. One progressive, having donated to Lindy Li when she was running for congress in 2016 before withdrawing for not receiving enough signatures to run in her own district, goes through his experience and sums it up as follows:
What did I learn from this experience? Not sure! Perhaps Lindy has had a massive change of heart and now is truly a Biden stan, or, which I think is more possible, she is a full-on grifter who goes where the wind blows. Biden campaign, I would be remiss to warn you that Lindy probably doesn’t have your best interests in her heart. Hopefully, she will stop accusing people of lying (lying herself in the process) and stops retweeting antisemitism!

I don't even consider myself a progressive and supported both Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden over Bernie Sanders. However, I think that maybe we should start listening more to our progressive allies and focus on reactivating the left rather than trying to appeal to closeted republicans chasing power because fuck these people.
