A MAGA Republican was none too pleased with his party on Friday night and accused the GOP-led House which passed a temporary funding bill Friday evening following a week of chaotic negotiations of shirking its responsibility to "bring down spending."
Rep. Andy Harris, Maryland's only Republican in Congress, backed Louisianas Mike Johnson for House speaker last year, but fired a warning shot after the House passed a stopgap spending bill to avert a holiday shutdown.
"Since President Trump's historic election to bring down spending, deficits, and inflation, the 'Republican'-led House has INITIATED $300 billion in unpaid for new spending, without even ATTEMPTING offsets to prevent skyrocketing the deficit and debt."

Hey Harris you said future generations deserve better.............how quaint ..........did you or did you not vote to hike the debt to 1.7 TRILLION dollars when Paul Ryan was in charge so big rich people could get millions in tax breaks ................did you offer anything to help with that cost ................nope not even taxing assholes that pay nothing into social security during that time frame if someone was making over $127,700.00 .............you should be asking your dude president......President Musk how much did he pay into social security after he made the first $168,00.00 dollars this year in four minutes off the government contracts he has.....after all the below tax rates is what the peons pay all year............unless they make over $168,000.00 then they stop into the social security system................. and Harris if your staff trolls come unto this site............maybe this will give your staff cronies an idea on how to make the next generations life better .............I got an idea why don't you ask the other oligarchs if they can pay also..........do you see the problem............I think not...........

The tax rate for an employee's portion of the Social Security tax is 6.2%.
Your employer also pays 6.2% on any taxable wages.
Self-employed individuals pay the full 12.4%. However, its worth noting if you're self-employed, you can deduct the employer-equivalent portion of that amount.
