For the last month and a half, everybody has been saying that the Democrats were out of touch bc they represent college [View all]

educated voters over the working class voters. How Republicans identify with the non-elite better than do Democrats.

But today, there's a civil war going on in MAGA world bc Vivek and Elon are saying that Americans don't produce enough engineers that can work in Silicon Valley. Vivek then wrote this long ass post about how we need to emphasize academic excellence.

So, does this mean that the Republicans want us to be more "elite"? But, isn't that what they criticize the Democrats for?
