I have slowly gained way too much weight and have been trying to lose it for more than a year with only mild success. Of all things I dread the weigh in and shut down my sensory faculties while its being done. At least Im going in the right direction but way too slowly which happens at my age. Shit.

It does help to calculate drug doses though, pain meds, anesthetics, etc.

BMI is not weight; it's an outdated and biased formula. Weight can be a correlated indicator, but it is not a reliable

Yeah, they can be more sensitive about it. However, sometimes weight is an issue (diabetes)

I weight myself everyday, clothes off, when i go to the Dr's i tell them the weigh.

Antibiotics generally don't need a weight...Z-pack for instance: Everyone gets the same dose.
