Denmark stated that Greenland might pursue its independence but not to be a state of the US. It would be a mistake for Denmark to suddenly negotiate with Trump after he threatened them. So, this doesn't hearten me in the least. Let him have any greater power over Greenland, and give up the island anyway.

The pres-elect is a bully. You have to stand up to him.
