16. Why? Just Why? There are not enough shelters

Does she have a plan to help people with housing?

I guess the cruelty is the point. As a nurse working in a hospital, there were so many times I had to discharge patients to a shelter. Many of them vets.
Many of us would scramble to make sure the MDs were on time to sign their discharge paperwork and get them to the hospital pharmacy to pick up their discharge meds, get social workers to get their bus pass in time so they could get to the shelter in time to secure a bed.

There was one time I was chewed out by management for not discharging a patient. It was pouring rain. He was taking the bus, did not have a warm enough jacket. The bus stop was a good distance from the hospital. So was the shelter after getting off the bus.

We see an increase in patients claiming to be suicidal when it’s cold just so they can have a warm bed to sleep in. Or they commit petty crimes to get arrested to get 3 hots and a cot.

I’ve had mothers in my care that sleep in parks with their kids and pretend they are camping or on adventure so the kids are not alarmed by sleeping outside.
Does she have a plan in place to help vets? Or mothers like the ones I mentioned sleeping in parks with their kids?

I guess locking mom up for trespassing and putting the kids in foster care will make sense to her.

This woman is beyond evil and disgusting.
