Mary Trump is brilliant! Every progressive podcaster and talk show host should follow her example. [View all]

I, like many others, cannot stand the sound of her uncle's voice. I go so far out of my way not to hear it, that when progressive podcasters and talk show hosts play clips of him, I turn it off, skip it, pause it, etc. But last night I witnessed the most brilliant idea I've seen yet that allows someone to play clips of him without making my stomach turn. She sped the clip up to the point that he sounded like a chipmunk! OMG it was so freakin awesome! Although his words were still disgusting, and there's still the issue of the image of him (which you can protect yourself from in several ways), the sound of it was so comedic that it made it listenable. I urge any progressive podcaster and/or talk show host that plans to play clips of him going forward to follow her example and do similar things to alter his voice so you won't lose your audience.
