1. We are starting to see some VERY EFFECTIVE messaging

As a person who has been very critical and very vocal about inadequate messaging from Dems for decades, I am thrilled to see what appears to be to be a coordinated, organized, and powerful response to Trump. And I am not just talking about this tragedy, but I'm seeing what I hope is a broader messaging strategy.

Leader Jeffries talked about a litigation strategy, a legislative strategy and a messaging strategy. I hope this is all part of that, and will continue to get more and more organized, timely, and powerful. But so far, GREAT JOB Dems ! And some people probably never would expect to hear that from me.

To put this into perspective, Trump's comments today were just as idiotic as when he talked about drinking bleach to cure COVID. But back then, the response came days later from the late night comics. This time the response was strong, timely, and very direct. We have to deal with Trump like a dog that never had obedience training. He has to learn that when he misbehaves, there will be an IMMEDIATE and PAINFUL response from Dems. And if we do that, the media will follow suit.

And speaking of the media, what we are seeing with this crash and the "train wreck" that was the impounding of federal payments, is that when Dems get out there quickly, much of the media will follow suit. That's a vital lesson. We already know that none of the legacy media is willing to lead stories these days. But if they see Dems out there in a forceful way, they are willing, maybe even eager, to join that parade.

I'm sorry Harris did not take office, but if this is what it finally takes to get Dems into the fight, well, at least that is one silver lining from the election. Once we learn how to fight, we can win big.
