i have seen a couple ppl have strokes followed by big personality changes. usually just like this- a fighter who goes all kumbaya. it can go the other way, but the 1s i know, this was it.

esp as so much of the damage/recovery were about ‘depression’ (i wish we had a different word for the array is symptoms we call depression, but w a physical cause.) i think a more accurate was to say that is that it effected the emotion centers.

i honestly think that’s it. dont think he is a good enough actor to b pretending now, nor then.
every thread about him, replies are 95% calling names and a few souls pointing out the brain damage. in this case i think the kind answer is also the correct 1.

no idea if there is penn law to remove him, but his ppl rly shd get him to step down if this is the sitch. cuz he isnt gonna improve now.

ya know, peeps, i’m saddened that so few here r willing to even consider this.
neurology and justice/fairness is a tricky subject, and imho, 1 we get badly wrong.

there r only a couple conditions where brain chemistry can mitigate blame or liability, yet there r many that shd. comes down, i guess, to the notion that we have completely free will. but many of us rly dont.
whether it’s disease, injury, medical treatments, all can eat away at executive function. the texas tower shooter had a brain tumor. there’s a whole spectrum down from that.

not advocating handing out free passes.
am advocating protecting ppl who arent thinking straight from decision making, as much as possible.
not rly diff than taking the car keys away from ppl w seizure disorders.
