I apologize if my neurotic ways have frightened anyone. It is currently only known to spread by direct contact with an animal carrying the virus. If you do have to handle a deceased animal, gloves are considered by the CDC to be sufficient. Although not seen to spread by airborne vectors yet, many similar viruses do exhibit that quality so it definitely could evolve in that direction. The good news is your KN-95 will definitely protect you from H5N1! It has not been seen spreading from person to person and at this time there is no reason to believe it will make that jump.

But we are in flu season, and you can rest assured that good handwashing, not touching your face and wearing that KN-95 (especially indoors and around those with symptoms) will provide an excellent level of protection 🙂

I can't believe the WHO and CDC have been treated the way they have been. These people are heros, to all of us
