Suggestion, you might want to add 1 more bullet point - speak to us too, your constituency!!! Speak to those of us who voted for Harris/Walz and who understand totally what is going on and how the word "coup" is indeed appropriate. There are some mainstream commentators and even more repubs now saying things like only so many more months left to democracy.

Ever since the election Ive been waiting for just someone to channel FDR and tell us in plain language WTF is going on and to reassure us that the only thing to fear is fear itself. Theres a balance to be struck between honesty/ telling it like it is without sugar coating AND keeping spirits up. This is something they might want to talk to Zelensky about and get a few pointers!!!! Take inspiration from any/ all the former soviet nations, how they fought for independence. Everyone makes parallels with Hitler/Nazism, but how Russian tactics are countered may be more useful.

Per Naomi Klein (who wrote the Shock Doctrine years ago) there is power in understanding how these tactics (disinformation, psy-ops, the "flood the zone with bullshit" thing )work and what the intention is (confuse, demoralize, From there strategies to counter and resist can be found.

YES IT IS THIS SERIOUS!!!! Its scary enough that this is happening without our leaders seeming to be MIA (which granted may be partly due to lack of reporting) or when you do hear/read Dem or left leading commentators they seem to think its still 2023 and saying stuff like "we have to do better reaching out to rural working class" without realizing that so many of us Dem voters already ARE rural and/or working class !!!! I wish theyd speak to US and not our wayward acquaintances and siblings who went MAGA. Lots of families out here in the real world who are divided and maybe even not speaking to each other. STOP BUYING INTO THE REPUBLICAN slur that Dems are "elitist" and out of touch.
