(9,308 posts)I was a regional manager for a 12 state region (Rio Grande to Canada) and we tried the work from home issue for about a year. I can understand why people like it but my experience is that it was not good for our team or our customers. There is something to be said for interaction with your peers and customers.
If working from home is high on your priority list, and it is not available, then maybe look for a job where it is an option.
As far as Newsome - I have nothing against him talking to anyone as long as he doesn't support their ideology or nastiness. He represents all the people not just those that voted for him. I think it is wrong when the GOP does it and we shouldn't follow suit. Also as a Texan be thankful you don't have the sad choices we have in our State - it is very depressing.
Unless we Dems stop all of this hand-wringing and divisiveness amongst ourselves soon we will end up with someone like Trump again, and personally I was tired of it a long time ago.
