is not the hill to die on. And you see that nearly all the comments here critical of Newsom engaging with Bannon and others is really just about the anger about the trans sports issue.
Again, engaging with the fringe is important because it may yield moments of truth that can then go viral. The engagement wars now have almost nothing to do with how many minutes somebody is on Hannity or Maddow. It is all about whether a message can go viral.
