The elite class has become spoiled, entitled, privileged.

You used "entitled" correctly in this sentence! (LOL) It's the way that repubs and conservatives and fascists (evidently) have been using the word entitled (and it's many word forms) for years to talk about Social Security and Medicare. Only in the kind of sentence you wrote does it correctly hammer home the "entitled"... privileged... atmosphere of the word that republicans love to banter about.

It's a pet peeve of mine. When done correctly, like you have done, it shows in black and white the difference between repubs and democrats. Only to repubs could something you've paid into all your life with your own hard earned money be titled an "entitlement" and demeaned in the way that "entitled"... used in the form of elitism... conjures.
