Firstly, As you can see (haha) here, you are definitely not alone! We all have good reason to be angry about all this. And I get even angrier at people who aren't paying enough attention to be mad!
Aside from continuing to keep up with all those eye drops, maybe skip the news for a couple of hours and watch a good old comedy film. Because laughter is , if not the best, at least a good medicine. And it reminds me of an Irish proverb: A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book.
But in reading all the comments I'd like to suggest Zinni to those who still need prescription glasses. They have glasses starting at about $8.00 and up to $150 or so. They have a huge variety to choose from and they have all the regular add-ons that are available at any optical store. You simply upload a copy of your prescription and fill in the size you need (there is clear directions on how to get the correct measurements).

I ordered 2 pairs that cost me a total of $25 with shipping and I was happy with the quality and fit. I don't have optical insurance so it was the only way I could afford new glasses. But it's probably cheaper even for some who do have coverage so I figured I would share it here.
